I am the Personal Trainer of some famous MDs here in Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton. And I hear more and more about sports injuries, because people are over motivated and don’t realize their age. You don’t like to hear that?? No problem – IT IS A FACT ! The body with 45 years is not the same as it was 20 years ago. Humans are peaking fitness wise normally between 20 and 25 years. Just look at the Olympics. That means we have to adapt our workouts to our age. I as a former IFBB World Champion workout with around 30% of my former weight level. This prevents injuries and surgeries. Yes, it is true: I do not look like as good as former times, but this belongs to the process of aging. My private target is HEALTH and not to be on stage in bikini. What is YOUR target?

My guest on my Radio Show today at 1 pm EST is Ashley Whitford. She is a Chiropractor here in Pompano Beach and a HUGE Crossfit fan. She  sees how trainers are not adapting the workouts to clients age groups. They push and motivate till clients age group 40+ is ripping apart tendons, shoulder joints, etc.

What you have to watch out for? TheTrainer at Crossfit or your Personal Trainer should be always  similar age group as you are. He/she knows what is means to grow older and what changes the body goes through. You will be healthy, fit and enjoying life! And that is what we want, isn’t it?
