Working now 34 years in the Health & Fitness business – since 2015 in the USA – I see why food is just so essential to your health. After having seen 3 years ago in a big worldwide health report that the billion dollar multivitamin business is a no go, because it does not substitute fruits and vegetables AT ALL, I had to readjust my own nutrition too.
I stopped using supplements and added much more fruits and vegetables to my daily routine – and honestly I am not a huge fan of vegetables. But since I switched I am never sick, my immune system is much stronger, I heal much faster from injuries and I just feel so much better. My energy level increased too – that is very important because as a Personal Trainer I am responsible for the health of all my clients here and back in Germany. By the way: if you don’t like vegetables I found for myself the following solution: I JUICE the vegetables – I swallow it much faster and all nutrients and cancer fighting antioxidants are in FAST! 🙂
